Does the concrete sealer on your patio, sidewalk, or stamped concrete look cloudy? Most likely, you’re seeing moisture trapped in the dry film over a fresh coat of sealer while the sealer is still curing.
Where’s the moisture coming from? It can be a result of moisture in the concrete from ground saturation, power/pressure washing the concrete, sprinklers, etc. Application of incompatible concrete sealers is another culprit … was your concrete finish sealed with a solvent based sealer one year, then resealed with a water based sealer the next time?
What’s the fix? The sealer needs to be completed stripped off or removed with a grinder, and then a new sealer applied. And make sure subsequent sealers are compatible with this first seal coat.
